In short
If you appear in Wherely results and don’t want to, we delete your face template, the image fingerprints and the stored results linked to them. You don’t need a Wherely account.
1. Email us
Write to [email protected] with the subject “Removal request”. Attach one clear photo of your face, and, if you have them, links to pages where Wherely showed you.
2. What we use your photo for
Only to find your record in our search memory. We don’t keep it after the removal and never use it for anything else.
3. Checking it’s you
To protect you from someone else removing (or finding) you, we may ask you to confirm the request from the same email address or answer a short question.
4. What happens next
We delete your face template, the related image fingerprints and the stored public-web results linked to them, and tell you when it’s done — within 30 days, usually much sooner.
5. Good to know
We can only remove what Wherely stores. The pages themselves belong to the sites that host them; to take a page down, contact that site. If your face is searched again later, our partners may find it again on public pages — write to us again and we’ll remove it again.
